While we were preparing this, our first issue, page designer Suzie Riddle and I looked at a lot of photographs of homes and gardens in the Upstate that their owners graciously opened to us.
Though the homes are as individual as their owners, I told Suzie at one point that the photos all seemed to say the same thing: “It’s great to live in Greenville!”
That’s our mission: to demonstrate each month just how wonderful it is to make a home in Greenville. We’re a home and garden magazine that, as our title says, is all about you and for you.
If you’re in the market for a new home, look each month for a story about the latest in homebuilding trends and new neighborhoods. If you’re contemplating or committed to a remodeling/renovation project large or small, you’ll find advice from professionals and from other homeowners just like you.

If you’d like to give your landscaping a lift, look for ideas from design experts as well as some of Greenville’s avid and accomplished gardeners.
A monthly calendar will include everything from plant sales and garden seminars to classes in tiling, faux finishing, and window treatments.
And throughout the magazine, you’ll find ways that you can contribute to these pages and to our Web site GreenvilleSCHomeandGarden.com. We welcome your comments, suggestions, stories and photos of your home and your latest decorating or landscaping project.
So we hope we inspire you. We’re absolutely certain you’ll inspire us.
